Achievements

An essay by Steve Peraza, assistant professor of history and social studies education, titled "The False Promise of Racial Self-Affirmation in the 21st-Century United States," will be published in a forthcoming issue of Afro-Americans in New York Life and History 43 (2). The peer-reviewed journal publishes research in African American studies with a New York focus.
