Achievements

Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his article "Life Satisfaction and Its Correlates among College Students in China: A Test of Social Reference Theory" in the Asian Journal of Psychiatry 10:17–20. The article's coauthors are Sibo Zhao, David Lester, and Chengchao Zhou, who was a visiting scholar to Buffalo State in 2010–2011 and is now an adjunct instructor in the college's Sociology Department.
