Professional Development: Making Course Content Accessible - PowerPoint

Buffalo State is engaging in an effort to promote accessibility of course materials in classes, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid. This hands-on session will focus on how to create accessible content in PowerPoint, including creating and providing transcripts or closed captions for narrated PowerPoint files. Bring a flash drive with a PowerPoint file on it. Presented by Meghan Pereira, senior instructional designer; Sumana Silverheels, technology accommodations coordinator; and Beth Burns, instructional designer, on Tuesday, April 9, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center 104. This workshop will be repeated on Friday, April 12, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.
