Jason Bird of MetLife will conduct the workshop Tax Strategies on Thursday, April 23, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 418.

This workshop will cover the following:

• The importance of tax diversification
• Maintaining accurate records
• Making the most of tax-deferred programs
• The difference between federal, state, and local taxes
• Rules for home sales, charitable contributions, and child-care tax credits
