Achievements

Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his article "College Students' Satisfaction to Campus Life and Affecting Factors," coauthored with Tan Jiandan, in the journal Research on Higher Education 30: 9–22.

Tan was a master’s student at Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, studying sociology. She spent six months at Buffalo State as a visiting scholar in 2011.
