Deadline Extended to Nominate an Inspirational Female Student or Faculty Member for Recognition

Posted:

Student Life, United Students Government, and P.U.L.S.E. (Powerful United Ladies Striving to Elevate) will celebrate Women’s History Month with a luncheon on Tuesday, March 12, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.) in E. H. Butler Library 210. The luncheon will recognize and celebrate women on campus. We ask students and faculty members to nominate a woman on campus—student or faculty member—who has inspired you in some way. We are looking for a woman who serves as an example, a woman whose behavior is emulated by others. The criteria for nominations are as follows:

Each nominee must

  • have community service or volunteer experience;
  • be involved in at least one group or organization on campus;
  • be viewed as a leader.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, March 1. All nominees will be celebrated; five will be highlighted. Please use the online form to submit nominations.
