A one-day SUNY conference, "Promoting Scholarly Communications through Open Access Journals," will be held on Friday, March 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the College at Brockport. The goals of the conference include raising awareness of issues in scholarly communication and sharing best practices in faculty and student use of open access publishing through speakers, panel discussions, and a hands-on workshop. The conference is sponsored by the SUNY Conversations in the Disciplines Program.

The cost is $10 for students and $30 for faculty and staff members. SUNY CPD points will be accepted for registration.
