QPR stands for question, persuade, and refer, three simple steps to help prevent suicide. Certified trainers will teach participants these steps and provide time for practice during this workshop on Thursday, May 22, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Bacon Hall 205. QPR is a component of the college's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association's grant titled "Buffalo State Cares: A Call to Bystanders to Prevent Suicide on Campus." Presented by Ron George, Suzanne Johnson, and Joan McCool.
