Susan McMillen, associate professor, and Jodelle Magner, assistant professor, Mathematics, gave two presentations at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) 2007 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Atlanta, Georgia, March 21–24: “Making Teaching Children Mathematics Come Alive in Your Classroom,” which addresses the format and types of articles that should be written for the Investigations column in the NCTM journal Teaching Children Mathematics, and “Content Courses for Teachers: Impacting Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching,” which addresses data from in-service teachers enrolled in graduate mathematics courses during the summer and fall 2006 semesters.
